The Village at Summerville

Our very first community, the Village at Summerville, is also our largest, serving 300 residents.  In this special location aptly known as Flowertown, our community enjoys the best of low country charm.  Delicious meals are shared in a relaxed dining room, worship and other special events are held in the beautiful chapel, a stroll around the duck pond, and relaxing in one of the gazebos are favorite pastimes.  We have a complex of Hilton Head-style cottages called "The Village," where independent, leisure living is enjoyed by active residents in a secure setting.

Charleston is only 20-40 minutes away depending on your destination within the city.  Beautiful beaches can be reached in less than an hour.  Off campus, residents volunteer with many regional organizations and continually take advantage of non-stop cultural opportunities in both Summerville and historic Charleston.  The arts festival, Spoleto, the historical district tours and programs provided by the colleges and universities are just some of the events attended regularly by our residents.
